4 Year Fixed Annuity
A 4 year fixed annuity or multi-year guaranteed annuity (MYGA) is a tax-deferred, high-yield savings account designed for retirement saving that earns a fixed interest rate for four years, similar to a Certificate of Deposit (CD).
Like CD rates, the principal, interest, and the number of benefits are guaranteed. In addition, fixed annuity rates accumulate like Certificates of Deposit (CD), but the earnings grow tax-free until withdrawals are taken. This tax advantage is called tax-deferral.
